Monday's Bloom #6

Hip-pity Hop-pity Easter's on it's way! 

I am so looking forward to spring. I got a new purse for my Birthday that I am dying to use. I also go this new SU Milk Carton die for the Big Shot. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not, but I have fallin' in love with it. It is so cute! I sat down and made 5 right away. I think I'm going to hang them off some branches as ornaments and make some more for Logan's Easter basket. Here are some close ups of them.

RED HAT EVENT

Recently I had a Red Hat Group ask me to do an event for them. This past weekend I had  7 Red Hat ladies come to my house and each of them brought something for a pot luck lunch. After we ate lunch we created 7 recipe cards using the recipes for the wonderful food they brought. It was great fun!

Thanks for the lunch ladies, it tasted GREAT!!!

Custom Work

I want to share with you some frames I made for a customer. I love doing custom work. It is fun trying to capture a persons personality and likes in a piece of art work. These frames are for some upcoming birthdays, so I made cards to go with them. 

1st is Tobin's fishing frame:

  

    I stamped the images and water colored them. i also used glossy accents to highlight some areas.

Spring is in the air. The dogs are barking, my son is out playing and I have been creating lots of new spring inspired stuff. This weekend I am having a Red Hat Event at my home. A local Red Hat group is coming over and bring a yummy lunch, then we are going to create 7 recipe cards for the food they are bringing. If you ever have a group that would like to learn a new paper craft such as card making, recipe cards, calendars, 3D projects, or scrapbooking, just let me know. I am always willing to host at my house or I can come to you. I am really looking forward to this weekend. We are going to have a blast. March 27 STAMP CAMP  is just around the corner. JOIN IN ON THE FUN!!! Stamp Camp is a great way to meet new people, get inspired, learn some new techniques and go home with lots of great projects. At Camp you will create 6 to 8 cards/projects. And there will be snacks and beverages to boot. So don’t miss out…sign up now!

 

SIGN UP: all you need to do to sign up is email me with your full name, phone number, home address and email address. Put “STAMP CAMP” in the subject line. As soon as I sign you up I will send you a confirmation email.

 

COST: $15.00 (due at the time of the camp)

 

PROMOTIONS: If you place a $25.00 or more Stampin’ Up order the night of the camp you will receive 50% off the cost of the camp.

-          Sale-a-bration: for every $50.00 spent you will receive a FREE stamp set or item of you choice from the Sale-a-bration catalog. (March 31 is the last day for Sale-a-bration so hurry and place you orders)     

-          Have a friend sign up with you and you will receive a FREE gift.

 

SUPPLIES: all supplies will be provided, but if you don’t like to share, you may want to bring your own adhesive and scissors.

 

CAMP KITS: may be purchased at $15.00 a piece + shipping & handling. All kits will be mailed out within one week of the camp date. LOCAL customers are welcome to pick up their kits with no added fees.  

 

*CANCELLATIONS*: must be made 2 weeks prior to the camp date, to ensure that the correct supplies are purchased for the camp. If you are not able to give 2 weeks’ notice, you will still owe the $15.00 and you will receive a Camp Kit with all the pieces you will need to make the projects form the camp. You will need to pick the kit up within one week of the camp or it will be shipped to you with additional cost due.
