Hi All -
Today is my sons first day back to school. Yikes! He is getting so old...3rd grade now! I think it is odd that school starts on Friday, but who am I to judge. His NEW teacher isn't even going to be there today, she has a wedding to attend, on Friday the 13th. Yikes!
Last night he told me he was getting TOO OLD for me to walk him in on the First Day. I didn't know how I felt about that...a little proud... and a little sad. Sometimes it feels like BTS is as rough on the parents as it is on the kids. My belly has had butterflies in it all day.
I ended up walking him in, we saw some other moms doing it. : ) Got my pictures and got out of there. Couldn't figure out weather he wanted me there or not, not sure if he knew either... Oh I am pining for the good old days, when he wanted me to come to his classroom and he WANTED to give me a hug and kiss (okay a hug) in front of his NEW classmates. Oh the teenage years are on the horizon! Back you fowl fool, back! (I have my soared in had trying to fend the land of the youth) Okay I think I am loosing it....
On to bigger and better things. : ) The September issue of Stampin' Success is out, this is the magazine for Stampin" Up! demonstrators. The backpack would be great for holding a small gift or some candy and the front pocket of the backpack could hold a gift card, small photo, money, keys, charm or a small card. Super cute pattern. I love it.
