Holiday Greetings Kids

Candy Wrappers

 Hi All -

Today's bloom is on the NEW Candy Wrapper Bigz die.I think I am going to have to make a bunch of these for the Holidays. It is supper cute.  

Here is what the die looks like .

And here is what I have made so far.

I made a couple of Halloween ones using the Wicked Cool stamp set. Using the Bat punched I created a window in this one.

I also made a couple of Holiday ones using the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set. I used the NEW XL Label Punch on these ones too.

Halloween Greetings

Hi All-

Today I would like to share with you some more cards made with the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. 

 

Today's cards are Halloween cards. I used the Smooch Spritz on this Spooky card. I also used the Wicked Cool stamp set on all these cards.

 

 

 

 

On this card I was trying to see if I could use a "not" typical Halloween color in the mix, Baja Breeze. Not sure if I like it or not. What are your thoughts?

To create the bats on this card, I first punched the bats out of Basic Black cardstock using our NEW bat punch. Then  with my finger I smeared  Frost White Shimmer paint on them. Once they dried I bent up the wings and adhered them to the card using stampin' Dimensionals. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Card below is from the Sept 11 Stampin' Techniques Class. We did masking and revers masking on this card. We masked off the center circle and created the spider web border. Then we revers masked and created they moon and ground.

Greeting Card Kids

Hi All -

Today I want to share some cards I made with the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. It is probably my favorite stamp set this season. It can be used for many different Holidays. Today I am going to show you what I did with the school kids stamp.

 

 

 

 

On this card I created a frame for the image as though it were a chalkboard. I rounded the corners of the rectangle then with a Stampin' Write marker, drew the wood grain. With a white gel pen, I created the nail heads in each corner.    

 

  

 

 

 

This card is my favorite. I am loving the Play Date designer series papers. I made a tag too. Can't wait to give this one to Logan's teacher.

Holiday Joy House

Hi All -

In my latest order from Stampin’ Up!  I received the “Design a House” from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

It is soooooooooo cute! There is a little door nob that comes with it and you can cover the entire house using just one 12"x12" sheet of paper. And it comes with a pattern sheet so you don't have to do any measuring, not even for the windows frames. That is awesome!

I just had to get started and make one. Here is what I came up with.

I used Modge Podge to glue the paper down and to put the glass glitter on the roof.

Here are closeups of the front windows:

I don't know about you but there are always sweet treats at my house during th holidays. I used the Birthday Bakery set to make these sweet treats. I used vellum in each of the windows so a light can be put inside the house and it will glow through. Can't wait to dig out some christmas lights. 

  I used the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set to create the wreath and holly around the windows. A little bit of red glitter really makes them pop.

I am totally in love with the Greeting Card KIds stamp set. It is so cute and vintagey. I thought it was perfect for this house. She looks like she is reaching to open the door.  

 

 

 

 

Peak-a-boo, the door of the house opens, so someone had to be there to answer the door, right? There is vellum behind her too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oops I can't for get the "JOY" banner. I created this using the Welcome Christmas stamp set, another NEW vintage looking set I really like. I cut the letters out and mounted them on punched circles. I used pinking sheers to trim the black borders on each of the pendents.

Here is the left side of the house.

  I created the trees using the Seasons of Joy stamp set. It looks to me like the little girl is looking out the window at the rabbit.

On the backside of the house there are two little kids surprised to see rudolph. He must be lost.  I love making a little story out of this. : )

 There is no one on the right side of the house, just the trees and a little holly decoration.
